# Rails Logs: Notes on Fixing a Few Small Errors

### Runtime **error**

```ruby
'Could not find a JavaScript runtime' but execjs AND therubyracer are in Gemfile
```

## **solution.**

Just add the following to your `gemfile`

```ruby
gem 'execjs'
gem 'therubyracer', :platforms => :ruby
```

and that fixes it

### Got this warning

```ruby
add gem 'sqlite3'
```

But sqlite3 was already in the `gemfile`, and it still threw an error

### **solution.**

Change the original

```ruby
gem 'sqlite3'
```

to

```ruby
gem 'sqlite3','~> 1.3.0'
```

\
I think Ruby's biggest problem is that gem dependency issues come up all the time, but the error hints are just terrible
